Don’t let my last blog post fool you. I have been working. I promise! I just finished editing my last novel, and I am obsessed with it! Going the traditional route, I’m on the look for a literary agent, but I’m sure my restlessness will beat me and I’ll publish it on amazon soon enough.

After a long hiatus, I am back. I have slacked incredibly on my blogging in the past year, but was plenty busy in other areas. Since last checking in, I have been settling into a new job (to pay the bills), started classes to get into a nursing program, finished the first draft of a new novel, published two novels on Amazon (check out the published works page for more details on those pieces) and lastly, I started painting again! I aim to have my MardiDog series doubled within the next year and putting those pieces up for purchase somehow. More details to come on that. I’m still working out the logistics on how I can ship paintings without astronomical costs.
This year has been busy, but I’m hitting these next 12 months full throttle!
Since the early 2000’s, I have been dedicated to my art, by practicing and honing my skills. In high school, I furthered my skills in traditional mediums such as paint, clay, metal and photography. After winning the 2003 Pittsburgh All City Art Show and winning a Scholarship to Pittsburgh Technical Institute, I expanded my knowledge to Graphic Design and Web Design/Development. In 2005, I placed second in the PTI Portfolio Showcase. In 2006, I joined PVA Interactive as a designer and moved on to work for AW Communications, as the single member of their Print, Web and Advertising department from 2007 to 2014. Currently, all my work is freelance. Although I have been an artist of traditional visual media, I have fallen in love with writing. I wrote my first novel in 2008 and have not stopped writing since.
I am always looking for opportunities to use art as a way of communicating an idea, feeling or product to all members of society.
